Little did she imagine her author, Joanne Rowling (J. K. Rowling was the nickname she adopted because, according to the editor’s chief, children preferred books signed by men), that the child who survived would become the most significant phenomenon of the last decade.

With seven novels, two spin-offs, a short story (which will be adapted to the theater with a casting that is causing quite a controversy), eight films and a novena on the way, the adventures of Harry Potter at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry have conquered the hearts of children and adults alike.
