Whirled Cinema hosts the first ever Women In Horror Month London screening event WIHM: UNITED IN BLOOD.

The night will begin with a series of 8 shorts from female directors from the UK and across the globe. Following this up will be a WIHM Panel featuring special guests Barbie Wilde, Nicholas Vincent, Jessica Messenger and Abigail Blackmore discussing the importance of WIHM and the positive impact it’s had on women both in front of and behind the camera within the genre. There will be a giveaway of  WIHM merchandise courtesy of American Mary directors Jen & Sylvia Soska.

The Soska sisters WIHM Massive Blood Drive PSA 2016 will also be shown, in which female talent encourage blood donating… in their own unique (and gory) style.

The night finishes with Maude Michaud’s film DYS, in which a strange disease is plaguing the city, leaving Eva and Sam, an estranged married couple,  barricaded in their apartment despite the palpable tension between them.
