The Kung Fu legend himself is in London for two screenings at the Prince Charles Cinema and the BFI of his latest action film.

For the first time ever in the UK, Claudio Simonetti’s GOBLIN will be performing live scores for George Romero’s DAWN OF THE DEAD and Dario Argento’s SUSPIRIA on consecutive nights at the Union Chapel, Islington, London N1 2XD

On Monday 18th August they will be scoring Dawn of the Dead and on Tues 19th August, Suspiria. Audiences must be aged 18 and over.

Hollywood Spring Film Club FREE BLock Party

A free evening of films, with DJs (including psych-rockers Teeth of the Sea and Time Out’s music editor Oliver Keens) and live synth soundtracks from John Carpenter covers band, The Carpenters. The finale will be a screening from an original 16mm print of John Waters’s ‘Pink Flamingos’.

Duke Mitchell Film Club's Birthday Bash

The film club that celebrates VHS and old 35mm and 16mm, and anything generally offbeat and unseen, is now seven years young. To celebrate, a completely free evening of events is planned for the 18th August in the Phoenix Cinema in North London. On the menu is " trailer trash slots both new and old, our usual quiz but with a new twist, mad shorts, weird bits and all the usual mayhem will top and tail an evening that is sure to prove as stifling as the heatwave outside."
