Production on Christopher Nolan's latest sci-fi epic is proceeding under the kind of secrecy which is standard operating procedure for the director of The Dark Knight and Memento, with so far only a sketchy plot description and a vague teaser trailer for readers go on. Things got a bit more interesting though this week with the release of the first actual poster:
What is known of the plot is that it chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who use a wormhole to surpass the limits of human space travel and travel vast distances on an interstellar voyage. Time travel and alternate dimensions may also be involved. The cast is the kind of big talent ensemble which Nolan has assembled before: Jessica Chastain, Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and, naturally, Michael Caine. It opens November 7th. A full new trailer for Christopher Nolan's Interstellar will be unveiled alongside Godzilla screenings which begin this month when that film goes on general release.
