London's premiere indie film festival kicks off on 21 September, with opening film Problemski from director Manu Riche.
In Problemski, a cross-frontier migrant’s life ‘within the system’ becomes even bleaker in December. Bipul doesn’t want to admit it, but the arrival of Lidia, a Russian girl makes a difference. Hope? Surely not! A future? Get real! December is also the ninth month of Martina’s pregnancy. But, just when the situation seems hopeless, help is at hand.
The gala opening film will take place on the 21st of September at Picturehouse Central. Director Manu Richie will be in attendance for a Q&A after the screening.
