Though it's hard to imagine anything could match the horror of the last few days in British politics, you can count on Frightfest, London's premier horror festival, to give it a fair go.

The opening night attraction is the European Premiere of MY FATHER DIE, Sean Brosnan’s feature debut – an "ultra-stylish, uber violent revenge thriller that’s a calling card for Brosnan’s brilliant talents." The closing night film is the UK Premiere of TRAIN TO BUSAN, a film that apparently could be called "The Commuting Dead’, from director Sang-ho Yeon.

FrightFest 2016 will also be hosting a six-pack of special master classes, demonstrations and panel discussions looking at what’s happening in the horror & fantasy genre today. Hosted by media partner Screen International, there will be a panel discussion on the future of the UK Horror Film Industry, followed by the announcement of the winner of the inaugural ‘Screen International Horror rising star award’ celebrating the work of an emerging genre talent. Expect special guest appearances by cast and crew at many screenings too.
