Victoria preview at the Goethe Institute (30 March)

Goethe-Institute London. Wednesday 30 March 7pm

Sebastian Schipper's Victoria was shot in one exhilarating take, with all the action taking place in 138 minutes across Berlin by night. It is the middle of the night in Berlin. As Victoria, a young Spanish woman, is leaving a nightclub she crosses paths with Sonne and his three friends Boxer, Blinker and Fuß. Before she knows it she has joined the four Berliners for what starts as an aimless roam through the nocturnal city, but ends as something different. Life turned upside down in the space of 3 hours.

Germany 2015, colour, 138mins. German and English with English subtitles.
Director: Sebastian Schipper. With Laia Costa, Frederick Lau, Franz Rogowski, Burak Yigit, Max Mauff, Andre M. Hennicke, Anna Lena Klenke, Philipp Kubitza, Eike Frederick Schulz, Hans Ulrich Laux.
The film will be released in the UK on 1 April 2016
