Proud Archivist, 29 August 18:30pm
Classic films of the 20th century are the source material for the Remake Film Festival, which runs at the Proud Archivist on 29 August.
The challenge for entryists is to use one of the scenes from a selection of classic films, including Singin' in the Rain, Psycho and Casablanca, as inspiration for their own original short film. No longer than 7 minutes and made using any device, these shorts should pay homage to the film they were inspired by.
With the help of an international jury, the RFF will select the 10 best entries to be shown at the Remake Film Fest and go in the running to win the RFF Audience Choice Award.
