Doug Aitken's new film Station to Station receives its UK premiere on 19 Jun before the mutimedia Station to Station: A 30 Day Happening programme takes over the Barbican Centre from the 27th. Details here.

Guildhall School's Electronic Music Studios will accompany a rare screening of French silent film Ménilmontant along with a selection of short films including a version of Alice in Wonderland from 1903. Details here.

Samuel Beckett comes under the spotlight with Beckett on Screen - comprising of several strands; Television Pieces, Quiet Pathos, Profound Intimacies and Love, Loss and Laughter. Films will include Happy Days, Play, Ghost Trio and Eh Joe. Details here.

Science on Screen returns with Christopher Nolan's magician drama The Prestige with a presentation from computer science professor Peter McOwan in partnership with the London Mathematical Laboratory. Details here.

City of London Festival - Singapore on Film- Every summer for the past 53 years, the City of London Festival animates the square mile’s unique buildings and outdoor spaces with an extensive artistic programme of music, theatre, contemporary circus, stand-up comedy, film, children’s theatre, walks, talks and tours many of which take place throughout the Barbican. In the cinemas the Barbican will screen five films as part of the festival with a focus on Singaporean film. Details here.
