ReShape and The Cinema Museum present the VITO Project, a series of free monthly screenings bringing generations of LGBTs together to provide an alternative space to mix, watch films and share ideas.

This month’s screening is CABARET, a 1972 musical film directed by Bob Fosse and starring Liza Minnelli, Michael York and Joel Grey. The film is set in Berlin during the Weimar Republic in 1931, under the ominous presence of the growing Nazi Party.

The film won the Academy Award for Best Director for Bob Fosse, Best Actress for Liza Minnelli, Best Supporting Actor for Joel Grey, and five more technical awards.

To celebrate the first year of the VITO Project and mark the end of 2015, the screening will start early at 18.00 (Doors will open at 17.00) and will be followed by a 1930s themed party! We are hoping to see many Sally Bowles in the audience!

Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar.

The project is endorsed by BFI Flare, 56 Dean St, Gay’s the Word, ACT UP London, Gay Mates, a Change of Scene, the Cara Trust, I-Base, UK-CAB, Naz Project & Positively UK.
