Not to be missed if you are a fan of 70s paranoia cinema, or sound design in general:
American artist Rachel Rose, whose exhibition, Palisades, is on view at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery from 1 October-8 November, discusses visual and sound techniques with Oscar-winning editor and sound designer Walter Murch.
This conversation, presented by Serpentine Cinema in collaboration with mubi, will be followed by a screening of the 1974 film, The Conversation (dir. Francis Ford Coppola), starring Gene Hackman and edited by Walter Murch.
Walter Murch's work includes The Godfather: Part II (1974), Apocalypse Now (1979) and The English Patient (1996), among many other films.
