Frontline Club presents SPOTLIGHT preview & director Q&A

Not due out in the UK until January 2016 but already garnering awards buzz from the festival circuit abroad, Spotlight tells the true story of The Boston Globe’s Pulitzer Prize-winning “Spotlight” team of investigative journalists, who in 2002 shocked the city and the world by exposing the Catholic Church’s systematic cover-up of widespread pedophilia perpetrated by more than 70 local priests.

Director and co-writer Tom McCarthy and co-writer Josh Singer, along with The Boston Globe journalists that the film is based on: Walter ‘Robby’ Robinson, Sacha Pfeiffer and Mike Resends will be at the Frontline Club for a special Q&A after this early preview. The discussion will be chaired by the former head of BBC News and director of the centre for journalism at Cardiff University, Richard Sambrook,
