Hitchcock's East End - See the Hitch classic 'North by Northwest' out in the Leyton marshes

Hitchcock's East End - North by Northwest (PG)7.30pm / Open Air Screening

5 September 2014, The Waterworks Centre

Tickets and Details here.

Hitchcock was an East End boy, born in Leytonstone, so this screening organised by Create London and the Barbican, is real back-to-the-roots stuff.  On September 5 Create London and the Barbican will be screening Hitchcock’s classic, and classy (its got Carey Grant in it) thriller North by Northwest in the open spaces of Leyton Marshes.

From the Barbican:

"Featuring one of cinema’s most iconic action sequences, North By Northwest stars Cary Grant as a Madison Avenue advertising executive who finds himself swept up in a terrifying chase across America, taking him from the headquarters of the United Nations to the heights of Mount Rushmore.
