This drew my attention, not just because of the stellar cast and the fact that the director was the screenwriter on Drive, but due to it being an adaptation of a Patricia Highsmith novel (the author of The Talented Mr Ripley, which was adapted into a Matt Damon/Jude Law film which I still highly regard). Review as soon as I've seen it.
From the BFI:
Glamorous couple Colette (Dunst) and Chester (Mortensen) meet Greek-speaking American tour guide Rydal (Isaac). Rydal becomes infatuated with Colette and accepts an invitation to dinner, which leads him to be entangled in Chester’s sinister world by helping the couple stay ahead of local police. Set in the heat of 1960s Greece, this Patricia Highsmith (‘The Talented Mr Ripley’) adaptation is a gorgeous and thrilling directorial debut from the screenwriter of Drive.
We are very pleased to announce that Kirsten Dunst and Viggo Mortensen will join director Hossein Amini for a Q&A following this preview screening.
